in conjunction with our
Spring 2026 program,
"We Sing the Sea!"
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to Middle and High School students of the
Matawan-Aberdeen Regional
School District,
grades 6 though 12
SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES:
May 1 to May 31, 2026
ANNOUNCEMENT of WINNERS
To take place during intermission of our
Spring 2026 concert on the evening of
Sat., June 6, 2026
SITE: Temple Shaari Emeth
400 Craig Rd.
Manalapan, NJ
All appropriate artwork will be displayed via screen projection at the concert site.

All artwork must tie in to the concert theme: "We Sing the Sea!"

GUIDELINES
Please read carefully.

One entry per selected themed song choice

All artwork must be original and created solely by student artist

No AI generated, AI assisted artwork allowed
-
No copyrighted or plagiarized images allowed . Any entry that has been copied from an existing photo or image ( including a painting, graphic or advertisement) that was created by someone other than the student is a violation of the competition rules.

Preferred size 14 inch x17 inch max and must be able to convert image to jpg format 300 dpi for submission.

Medium options: 2 D only

Paintings: oil, acrylics, watercolor, etc

Drawings: color pencil, pencil, ink, marker, pastels, charcoal

Collages

Digital art (must use student’s original art, student’s own photos, etc)
SUBMISSIONS
Submit artwork by completing the CONTEST ENTRY FORM below,
and uploading the image via the button provided.
Artwork should be submitted as a 300 dpi JPG, file 5 MB max.
DEADLINE: Sun., May 31 at midnight
